Getting better together every day: This is why CWS relies on Daily Performance Management

The team at the CWS Workwear laundry in Wiesbaden demonstrates how Daily Performance Management can improve the performance of a company. Because all employees actively shape cooperation, processes are continuously improved, high-quality standards are maintained and customer satisfaction is ensured.

Method from the Haniel Operating Way (HOW) toolbox

Enkelfähig companies are not only highly sustainable, but also economically successful. In the further development of their operational processes, all companies in the Haniel portfolio are therefore guided by the lean or continuous improvement approach. The introduction of such practices and methods is part of the Haniel Operating Way, our common management approach. Daily Performance Management (DPM) is a tool from this area that focuses on analyzing the processes in an operation together with the entire team on a daily basis and thus improving them step by step – thanks to the knowledge and experience of all employees.

Lighthouse operation for managers and teams from the Group

The team at the CWS Workwear laundry in Wiesbaden has been working with DPM since the end of 2022. Within the Haniel Group, the site is a so-called lighthouse operation, where managers and teams from other sites can directly experience the benefits of DPM. Hartmut Engler, CEO of CWS Workwear, says: "With DPM, we deliver quality that inspires our customers every day."

Drawing on the knowledge and experience of all employees

A decisive advantage of DPM is the possibility to draw on the knowledge and experience of all employees. In this way, DPM also helps to involve and motivate our employees. They are part of a clear, structured process and know how their work contributes to the success of the company. In this way, DPM increases the satisfaction of our employees and our customers - and thus pays towards the long-term success we are striving for with the Enkelfähig strategy.
