Duisburg, 8 June 2015. Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH (Haniel) completed the acquisition of Bekaert Textiles Holding II B.V. (Bekaert Textiles) from Gamma Holding (owned by Gilde Buy Out Partners and Parcom Capital Management) on 8 June 2015. As the world’s leading company in its market, Bekaert Textiles generated sales in excess of EUR 200 million in 2014.

Bekaert Textiles will be fully consolidated in Haniel’s 2015 semi-annual report. It was agreed not to disclose details of the takeover.
