“enkelfähig” – that is the name of the company magazine that Haniel brought out for the first time at the end of 2011. The aim is to transfer Haniel’s values into topical issues and attractive artwork. You can learn more about “enkelfähig” here.

2015

 "Gold at the BCP Award"

„enkelfähig“ is awarded Gold at the BCP Best of Corporate Publishing Award in the category of „B2B: Trading/Transportation/Logistics”. Because this was the third time the magazine had won the BCP Gold Award, Haniel earned itself a place in the Hall of Fame.

The BCP Best of Corporate Publishing competition is organised by Forum Corporate Publishing e.V. together with the competition supporters acquisa, Horizont, w&v and Werbewoche. With over 600 publications submitted, the BCP is the biggest corporate publishing competition in Europe.

2014

"Silver at the BCP Award"

A Silver Nail from ADC

“enkelfähig” is awarded a Silver Nail in the Art Directors Club für Deutschland (ADC) competition in the category of “Corporate Publishing – External“.

The ADC singles out the best creative work to appear in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. Over 360 jurors – all ADC members – in 28 juries evaluate the work in different categories. The Silver Nail recognises work that sets standards in the respective category.

Silver at the Galaxy Awards"

"enkelfähig” is awarded Silver at the Galaxy Awards in the category of “Copywriting – Magazines – Executive” Galaxy Awards.

The international Galaxy Awards"competition recognises outstanding achievements in product and services marketing. The eleven main categories include advertising, brochures, copywriting, design, marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, special events and websites.

Two Bronze awards at the Astrid Awards"

“enkelfähig” is awarded Bronze in the category of “Magazines (Corporate Publishing)”, as well as in the category of “B2B: Trading/Transportation/Logistics”.

The international Astrid Awards competition honours outstanding achievements in design communications.
Work that showcases impressive design in terms of creativity, quality of craftsmanship, innovation and originality has a chance of winning the coveted prize.
The Astrid Award was established 24 years ago and last year received almost 550 entries from all over the world.

Gold and Silver at the Mercury Awards"

“enkelfähig” wins Gold in the category of “Custom Publications – B2B” and Silver in the category of “Magazines – Design”.

The international Mercury Awards recognise the top performers in the field of public relations, public affairs and corporate communications. The prizes are awarded for innovation, originality and cleverness. The main categories include advertising, annual reports, brochures, design, employee magazines and websites.

Silver at the World Media Festival"

“enkelfähig” is awarded Silver at the World Media Festival in the category of “Corporate Print: Business-to-Business”.

The World Media Festival is a global competition for modern media, which recognises the film, television, web and print contributions of international companies.

2013

"Nomination for the European Excellence Awards"

Haniel and the Burda Creative Group GmbH are nominated for “enkelfähig” at the European Excellence Awards 2013 in the area of communications and PR in the category of “External Publication”.

The European Excellence Awards acknowledge outstanding achievements in a broad range of categories. These categories cover everything from internal communications and public relations work to crisis communications.

Goldener Funke finalist

Haniel’s “enkelfähig” magazine is among the finalists in the “Best Corporate Publishing Design” category of the “Goldener Funke 2012”, which is awarded by the Deutschen Preis für Wirtschaftskommunikation.

The Deutsche Preis für Wirtschaftskommunikation (DPWK) is awarded by students at HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences to companies with excellent business communications.

2015/2016

Particularly family-friendly company in Duisburg

Haniel has been recognised by the Duisburg Family Alliance as a particularly family-friendly company. The judging panel was convinced by the flexible working hours, voluntary social benefits, cooperation with pme Familienservice, health benefits and a concept for advice on starting a family: “Haniel really offers everything that distinguishes a modern employer nowadays.”

„Golden Best Recruiter 2015/2016"

Haniel is named “Golden Best Recruiter 2015/16” in the CAREER’S BEST RECRUITERS study. Overall, Haniel takes 14th place out of the 514 companies examined in the study. In addition, the family-equity company is once again chosen as the winner in the wholesale/sales sector. Haniel was selected as the winner of these awards for its sector and as „Golden Best Recruiter" for the third year running.

Each year, BEST RECRUITERS examines the recruitment quality of the top employers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the basis of scientific criteria that can be allocated to four pillars. With its extensive results, which are used to derive optimisation strategies for employers, the study makes a significant contribution to enhancing the quality of recruitment.

2014/2015

Medal at the International Business Awards

At the International Business Awards Haniel has earned the Distinguished Honoree medal in the “Company of the Year – Conglomerates” category.

The International Business Awards are a global, all-encompassing business awards programme honouring companies and their employees as well as great performances in business. In 2011, companies entered in more than 40 categories. In two rounds of judging, the international jury selected the winners from more than 3,000 entries received.

10th place in Best Careers Website rankings

Haniel came 10th in Best Careers Website 2011, awarded by Potential Park.

Potential Park recognised the top 30 company careers websites: Haniel moved up 34 places in the Best Careers Website 2011 rankings, coming 19th. A prize was also awarded for Best Online Application System 2011. Haniel was ranked 21st.

2014

"Nomination for the Corporate Finance Award"

In 2014, Haniel was nominated as one of five candidates for the Corporate Finance Award".

In 2014, Börsen-Zeitung apresented the Corporate Finance Award for the fourth time. The award recognises transactions from the past year that are outstanding from a corporate strategy and financing perspective. The assessment takes into account, for example, the size, complexity and originality of the transaction, as well as the corporate approach behind the transaction. In addition to a specialist judging panel, a readers’ judging panel consults on the winner of the award.

In 2014, the expert judging panel was composed of the following persons:

  • Prof. Dr. h.c. Roland Berger, honorary Chairman of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants;
  • Prof. Dr. Andreas Cahn, Institute for Law and Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt;

Haniel took third place in the Private Public Award for the best annual report in 2012.

The Private Public Award is a joint initiative of ergo Kommunikation, der auditing company PKF Fasselt Schlange and Klaus Bietz \ visuelle Kommunikation with the support of Morgan Stanley and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

The Private Public Awards analyse the annual reports of the 250 family and foundation-owned companies with the highest revenues headquartered in Germany. The best examples of transparent communications subsequently receive the Private Public Award.

Bronze at the Vision Award

The Haniel 2010 annual report, which was entitled „enkelfähig“  was awarded Bronze by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).

The LACP Awards are among the most important international competitions for annual reports. Every year, over 5,000 companies from over 24 countries submit their annual reports. A judging panel assesses the publications on the criteria of first impression, cover, foreword, narrative style, financial indicators, creativity, clarity and accessibility.

First place in the Private Public Award 2010

Haniel was awarded first place in the Private Public Award for its 2009 annual report.

Nomination of the “Social Walk” video for the Deutschen CSR-Preis 2013 in the category of “Best Video for a Company’s CSR Engagement”.

Nomination of the “Social Walk” video for the Deutscher CSR-Preis 2013 in the category of “Best Video for a Company’s CSR Engagement”. The hosts, co-hosts and council of the Deutsches CSR-Forum award the Deutscher CSR-Preis for outstanding achievements in various areas of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable business operations. The prize is intended to encourage other companies and people in positions of responsibility to promote CSR in their companies too.
