Challenges and support
Where do we stand? Where do we want to go? What do we need to do? Answers to these questions determine Haniel’s business strategy and thus the future of the Group. Employees who pursue our company goals with dedication receive the support they need in return to make their personal goals come true. Because as an employer with high demands, we also want to give a lot in return.
Career planning with a system
Haniel systematically develops your strengths. We have created a Group-wide tool to achieve this - the competence model. It is applied to all HR processes: from recruitment to feedback discussions to development planning. It also points the way ahead for further internal training. The employee dialogue is a fixed date for you and your supervisor once a year. Here, you discuss tasks, collaborations and results – both looking back at the past and towards the future – and agree on the next development steps. This is how we understand Talent Management.
Haniel’s own management centre, the Haniel Academy, supports management and skilled personnel in strengthening their specialised and personal skills and exploiting their performance potential. You can choose from a wide range of management training options. With tailored development programmes, the Haniel Academy gradually prepares ambitious management staff and management trainees for future challenges – with the Haniel Leadership Curriculum. The divisions also take their own measures using the Group-wide range of options to further train their employees.
