Dense pharmacy network
Patients and consumers are the focus of the Patient and Consumer Solutions division. With over 2,300 pharmacies in 8 countries, over half a million people buy their medicines and receive expert advice here each day. They also have their blood pressure measured or cholesterol level checked, or take diabetes tests. Customers of Celesio’s mail order pharmacies order their medicines online and have them delivered securely and conveniently to their homes.
Extensive wholesale
The Pharmacy Solutions division focuses on the requirements of pharmacies. The most important role is played by pharmaceutical wholesale: More than 130 locations supply approximately more than 65,000 pharmacies in 12 countries. Customers are also given advice and support on request, e.g. for marketing measures or employee training.
Service for producers
The Manufacturer Solutions division is the location for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Celesio offers manufacturers tailored logistics, marketing and sales solutions. Customers can also increase their staffing levels with qualified temporary workers. Manufacturers with operations across Europe receive cross-border support from a single company – Celesio not only transports their products across borders, but also packages and labels them for the appropriate market.
Meeting customer needs
Celesio is distinguished by its adaptability. Time and again, the company has been able to adapt its business model to new challenges of the pharmaceutical market. Celesio therefore continually develops services with which to tap new business areas and customer groups. In the UK, for example, Evolution Homecare has been offering a professional service supplying medication to patients at home. As a result of such innovations, Celesio is well-placed among European competitors and is also set to expand in future.
