The Supervisory Board monitors the work of the Managing Board and lends its support in an advisory capacity. Both committees must agree on important strategic decisions. The Supervisory Board takes particular care to ensure that the Group’s development is in keeping with its traditional values. The Haniel Supervisory Board is composed of eight representatives from shareholders and employees respectively. The post of Chairman is always held by a member of the family.
