The Haniel Foundation considers itself an operating foundation, meaning that it generally seeks out its own partners and projects with which it can make its objectives a reality. The Haniel Foundation supports young leaders in six international scholarship programmes. It does not support research periods or doctoral studies. Grants for printing costs are also not given.
