For, as an employer that demands a lot, we would like to offer a lot too. 

Career planning with a system
Haniel systematically expands your strengths. To enable this to happen, we have created a Group-wide instrument – the competency model. It is adopted for all HR processes. This includes recruiting, feedback discussions and development planning. It also serves as an indicator for further internal training. For you and your line manager, the employee appraisal is a fixed date. You discuss roles, cooperation and results – both retrospectively and future-oriented – and agree the next steps of development. This is how we understand talent management at Haniel. 

Haniel Academy

The Group management centre, the Haniel Academy, supports managers and skilled employees in strengthening their specialist and personal competencies and using their potential. You can choose from a broad range of management training courses on offer. With tailor-made development programmes under the auspices of the Haniel Leadership Curriculum, the Haniel Academy prepares ambitious executives and emerging managers for future challenges step by step. As well as the Group-wide offer, the divisions also have their own arrangements for training their employees.
