Haniel helps you with your career path. All Corporate Divisions offer internship places in different areas. You can experience – and take part in – day-to-day business firsthand as a school intern.
Trainees hit the ground running
At Haniel, each year several hundred young people take part in one of around 20 trainee careers. Whoever enters the company in this way has good prospects. The majority of trainees receive a permanent position in the Group once they graduate. You take on challenging tasks and develop your own area of responsibility in a team of experienced colleagues. You regularly discuss your career moves with the line manager. Haniel offers you various development opportunities. In the Group’s Haniel Academy, you can take part in training sessions or take an individual route by studying a part-time course, for example. Haniel supports you in this – by giving you flexible hours.
Fully provided for with the dual degree course
Training or studies – why choose between them when it is also possible to do both! Haniel offers you the opportunity to combine professional training with a university degree course. This enables you to combine optimally the theoretical knowledge you have gained with practical experience. The dual degree course at Haniel comprises company training as an IT specialist and a Bachelor’s degree course in business IT at FHDW Mettmann (Mettmann University of Applied Sciences). The learning and practical phases interchange regularly. After three and a half years you complete your Bachelor degree. In addition, you can take an exam at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) that is recognised throughout Germany.
