Extend your Day and prove your entrepreneurial Talent in the Haniel Business Plan Competition

   2 am to 6 pm
 

What can you experience?

  • Develop an innovative business plan with your team focusing on the private education sector in China
  • Present your team’s business plan in front of a high-calibre jury in the afternoon of the Haniel Day, followed by a closing dinner and award ceremony

Who can participate?

  • Masters students from all disciplines
  • Please apply as a team of 3 – 4 students (with no more than 1 non-Chinese student per team)

What can you win?

  • 1st prize: Team trip to Hong Kong
  • 2nd prize: Catering voucher from a famous German brewery for your team and friends
  • 3rd prize: High Potential Award Cup
  • All finalists will be invited to become members of the Haniel Group China Talent Pool

How to Join the Business Plan Competition

Step 1: Application
Please send the CV of each team member and a team motivation letter to pli@haniel.de before 7 October 2011

Step 2: Pre-selection
8 teams will be selected and invited to a kick-off workshop, including an introduction to the Haniel Group and the Business Plan Competition, and a soft skills workshop

Step 3: Qualification
A draft business plan concept should be sent before 30 October 2011. 4 teams will be selected and invited to the final presentation at the Haniel Day

Step 4: Final presentation
In the afternoon of the Haniel Day on 10 November 2011

The Haniel Day

Since 2007, the Haniel Day has been co-organised by the Haniel Group and Haniel Group Chair, offering you exciting opportunities every year:

  • Information on career prospects within the Haniel Group
  • Direct contact with senior management
  • Opportunity to demonstrate your entrepreneurial talent

Almost 1000 students have participated in past years. Haniel Day 2011 is looking forward to your participation on 10 November (start 9 am) in the large lecture hall of the Sino-German School for Postgraduate Studies (CDHK) at Tongji University.
